PlusB Privacy Policy - Google Workspace and AI Data Use

This policy explains what PlusB collects, how PlusB uses it, and how connected Gmail and Google Calendar data is handled.

PlusB is an AI workspace that lets users chat, generate content, store workspace history, and optionally connect third-party services such as Gmail and Google Calendar. This Privacy Policy applies to the PlusB website, workspace, APIs, and connected integrations.

By using PlusB, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate PlusB, secure the service, and deliver the features you request.

Account Information

Name, email address, authentication identifiers, and subscription details
Workspace settings, plan data, support requests, and account preferences

User Content

Prompts, chat history, stored memories, uploaded files, generated outputs, and other content you choose to keep in PlusB
Technical metadata associated with creating, storing, and retrieving that content

Connected Gmail Data

Google account email address associated with the connection
OAuth access token, refresh token, granted scopes, and token expiry metadata
Email metadata and content needed for features you use, such as inbox summaries, reading messages, composing replies, sending new email, or moving messages to trash

Connected Calendar Data

Google account email address associated with the connection
OAuth access token, refresh token, granted scopes, and token expiry metadata
Calendar event details needed for features you use, such as listing events, summarizing your schedule, creating events, updating events, or deleting events

Technical and Usage Data

IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, request metadata, and diagnostic logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and reliability
Short-lived cached data generated to improve performance and reduce duplicate API requests

2. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate you and operate your PlusB account

To generate outputs, summaries, drafts, automations, and other features you request

To read, summarize, draft, send, or organize Gmail content when you connect Gmail and instruct PlusB to do so

To read, summarize, create, update, or delete Google Calendar events when you connect Calendar and instruct PlusB to do so

To secure the service, detect abuse, enforce limits, and debug issues

To comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements

3. Google API Services and Google Workspace Data

How connected Google data is handled:

PlusB accesses Gmail and Google Calendar data only after you explicitly connect the relevant Google account and approve the requested scopes
Gmail data is used to let you read messages, generate summaries, draft replies, send email, and organize messages when you instruct PlusB to do so
Google Calendar data is used to let you view events, generate schedule summaries, and create, update, or delete events when you instruct PlusB to do so

If you use AI-powered features that rely on connected Gmail or Google Calendar data, PlusB may process the relevant email text, snippets, event details, or scheduling data through the model providers and infrastructure providers used to deliver the feature you requested. This processing is done to provide the requested user-facing functionality.

PlusB does not sell Google user data. PlusB does not use Google Workspace API data for advertising. PlusB does not transfer Google Workspace API data to data brokers.

PlusB's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only in limited cases such as:

With hosting, storage, payment, analytics, support, security, and AI model providers acting on our behalf to operate PlusB and deliver the feature you request
With Google when required to authenticate your account and execute authorized Gmail or Calendar actions
When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of PlusB, our users, or others
As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to customary confidentiality protections

5. Data Retention

Account and workspace data may remain until you delete the data or close the account, unless a longer retention period is required by law
Google OAuth tokens and connection metadata may remain until you disconnect the integration, the tokens expire, or PlusB removes the connection
Short-lived Gmail and Calendar caches may be retained temporarily for performance, reliability, and rate-limit protection
Security and operational logs may be retained for fraud prevention, debugging, and compliance

6. Your Choices and Controls

You can choose whether or not to connect Gmail or Google Calendar
You can revoke a Google connection from your PlusB workspace or from your Google account permissions
You can request deletion of your account or stored data by contacting us
You control what information you submit into prompts, files, memories, and connected workflows

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, and disclosure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

8. Children

PlusB is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
